About

Laura

A woman with curly brown hair and blue eyes smiling outdoors, wearing a light blue outfit and a blue gemstone necklace.

I weave together movement, breath, philosophy and mindfulness to help elevate students’ strength, focus and calm for alignment that starts on the mat and flows into their daily lives.

Because the mat is the training ground,
life is the arena.

My Yoga Origin Story

Like many people, I came to yoga for the physical aspects. What I discovered was a broad set of adaptable tools for elevating my everyday health, resilience, clarity and joy.

Today, 20 years later, I offer mindful, multifaceted yoga for people who want more than just poses on a mat.

Formal Background

I’ve studied with leading yoga, anatomy, and breath-work teachers including Rolf Gates, Judith Hanson Lasater and Lukas Rockwood. My 15-year background in professional education — both international and domestic — allows me to design classes and workshops that are structured, accessible and engaging.

My Approach

My teaching style respects natural alignment, functional movement, and people as individuals. I use language that allows students to build real-world self awareness and match intensity with personal need.
